Kwara State, in collaboration with Kwara Build Technical Care (#KBTC24), is set to train 1,500 youths in artificial intelligence (AI) and entrepreneurship, in a bid to tackle both local and global challenges through innovation.

Speaking to journalists in Ilorin, Mr. Kamaldeen Kehinde, Chief Operating Officer of Kwara Build, shared that the three-day workshop, scheduled for November 21-23, 2024, will equip participants with the latest tech trends, innovative business strategies, and solutions to strengthen their tech careers and businesses.

“This event will provide a valuable networking opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs and seasoned business leaders alike. It’s a platform where ideas, experiences, and projects can be shared to foster growth,” Kehinde noted.

Themed “Future Forward: Addressing Local and Global Challenges through Collaborative Innovation,” the workshop aims to provide participants with the skills to navigate the nation’s digital and technical sectors, offering a vital solution to ongoing challenges.

Mr. Kehinde emphasized that Nigeria has a wealth of innovative and vibrant youths, who will greatly benefit from the training, led by both local and international experts. Attendees will learn how AI can be leveraged to enhance their businesses and skill sets, providing them with practical tools to succeed in today’s tech-driven economy.

Renowned African tech ecosystem leader and investor, Musty Mustapha, is set to deliver the keynote address, alongside other prominent figures in the sector. The workshop will also conclude with an awards night, celebrating individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the African innovation ecosystem.

“AI, tech innovation, and entrepreneurship are the keys to unlocking Africa’s future. This event will celebrate those pushing the boundaries and empower a new generation of African innovators,” Kehinde added.

With the rise of AI and tech-driven solutions, the #KBTC24 workshop stands as a crucial opportunity for young entrepreneurs across Africa to harness technology for sustainable growth and success.
