Women in Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) has announced a collaboration with CIG Motors, the manufacturer of GAC motors, and the Diana Chen Foundation to promote inclusiveness in management positions and provide training opportunities for women. This partnership aims to showcase the full potential of women, contribute to nation-building, and create employment opportunities.
During a visit to the CIG Motors headquarters in Lagos, WIMBIZ’s new Executive Director, Omowunmi Akingbohoungbe, emphasized the organization’s commitment to advocating for women and creating platforms that elevate their status in business, corporate organizations, and public service. The goal is to achieve balanced gender inclusiveness with support from partners across the nation.

The CIG group and the Diana Chen Foundation are offering a year-and-a-half training opportunity for 20 male and female students from Yaba College of Technology in automation and other fields, with job placements available upon their return to Nigeria.
