Pertinence Group has said it plans to empower 2,000 individuals and businesses by 2023 through its start-up summit as part of the efforts to help struggling or upcoming entrepreneurs to fulfil their dreams.
A statement quoted the Group Chief Executive Officer of the company, Dr Stephen Oluwatobi, as saying this in Lagos, adding that the company remained committed to raising individuals and businesses through her shared value system.
Oluwatobi said, “To be an entrepreneur, you will need to raise funds, build a team, sell products, access markets, and so on. But through the Pertinence platform, budding entrepreneurs get the opportunity to leverage our systems, markets to sell our products and generate income from the process.
“So, that makes entrepreneurship a lot easier, that’s the reason we called it: Start-Up Summit. Our target is to hit two million people for empowerment in the next two years and help them achieve their personal dreams through our existing platforms.”
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer, Pertinence Properties, Jeffrey Ehikioya-Itepu, added that the summit platform was offering free, information-driven, easy entry platform, with products to sell.
Ehikioya-Itepu said, “You don’t need money to buy land, we have got land. You don’t need to buy houses, we have estates; so, all you need to do is to sell to the people and earn a commission.”
