Zarttalent Hosts How-to win With Tech Event In Lagos
Share

Zarttalent Foundation is a leading institute focused on advancing technology education for young African talents, particularly with a focus on empowering women. Since its establishment in May 2021, Zarttalent’s Academy has successfully trained over 500 students across Nigeria and has provided up to 65 scholarships to young girls in underserved communities in web development, front-end/backend development, etc. This has further solidified the foundation’s reputation for excellence and impact in the tech education landscape.

Zarttalent is dedicated to bridging the unemployment gap by equipping individuals with job-ready tech skills that land them their dream job.

To achieve this goal, Zarttalent initiated an event-themed “HOW TO WIN WITH TECH.” The summit aims to bring together young Nigerians, tech enthusiasts, and industry leaders to share invaluable insights into the world and opportunities of technology.  This initiative took place on the 17th of October 2025 at the Zar. It featured a panel session with prominent figures in the tech industry, including Deborah Nwaezide HR/technical recruiter, Babatunde Shodeinde in Product Design, and Oreoluwa Adesanaya, a Data Analyst and the representative of the Dutch embassy Sonia Onovughakpo Fajusigbe.

Nelson T. Ajulo, Zarttalent’s CEO, conveyed his excitement for the initiative and its potential to create a positive impact. He encouraged participants to seize the opportunity to prepare themselves for the future demand for tech skills by acquiring the necessary skills from various tech development programs, such as the ongoing one at the Zarttalent Foundation.

Sonia Onovughakpo Fajusigbe, a Policy Advisor and Business Developer at the Netherlands Consulate-General in Lagos, shared inspiring stories of how tech skills have transformed the lives of underprivileged young Nigerians. She emphasized the advantage of learning tech skills early and encouraged having a vision board.

As the youthful population of Africa continues to grow, it is essential to offer high-quality tech education to prepare them for upcoming job opportunities. Zarttalent is committed to closing this gap by providing job-ready skills that lead to employment.

We believe this event is designed to offer students valuable insights into the world of technology, one of the fastest-growing and most lucrative career fields in Nigeria and globally.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to explore how they can build successful, future-proof careers in tech.
